Designed by Prussian-American artist Nicola Marschall of Marion, Alabama, the First National flag of the Confederate States of America ("Stars and Bars") was adopted by the C.S. Congress on March 4, 1861 and was used until May 1, 1863. Made of heavy duty 210-D polyester with sewn stripes and stars and brass grommets. This beautiful flag is perfect for outdoor use. Available with 7, 11 or 13 stars.
